28.05.2010 Surrey Wedding | Second Shooting | Linda & Lee
I know that I love working with a second shooter and have worked with some brilliant photographers over the years, including Ant Clausen, Kitty Phillips, Rings ‘n’ Veils and Vittoria Gasbarrino. Second shooters bring a whole other angle to your wedding and capture moments in a more ‘quiet’ way than the first photographer. By that, I mean, that second shooters are often more in the background and doing a fantastic job noticing moments, looks and details that sometimes I might not get chance to see when I’m concentrating on getting key shots.
I also relish being a second shooter myself, when I get chance. There are lots of reasons why. It’s a fantastic opportunity to see the day from another angle, I get to spend time with the groom and groomsmen and I’m able to spend time observing and capturing the venue, flowers and all of the wonderful details that a couple have often spent months thinking about and planning, as well as sneaking in some more creative shots when I get chance.
At Linda and Lee’s wedding I second shot for Kitty Phillips Photography – a fab photographer and lovely with people. Kitty’s just updating her website so her full blog post should be up shortly.
